#FEESMUSTFALL

This event occurred a few years ago due to the struggle many tertiary students face when it comes to retrieving funding for their educational career and the government has come up with multiple strategies to overcome the struggle, however with the newly elected president Cyril Ramaphosa in term, we can only hope for the best results concerning NSFAS. Which is an organization that is tasked with providing bursary education to accepted students registered at tertiary level. My view of the movement is that it was necessary enough to motivate government to make practical decisions. However, students could have dealt with their anger more subtly and not like how they did as illustrated in the video.

RECOMMENDATIONS TO CONSIDER FOR SOCIAL MEDIA NETWORKING.

I genuinely believe that as practitioners we should mainly research the information we compile so that readers can find it factual and worthy. Secondly, we need to substantiate our research with referencing from the websites we use or visuals we use...  this will not only prove quality content but also tick all relevant boxes listed on the benefits of using social media as Public Relations Practitioners.

Therefore let us all take our natural beauties seriously and take care of ourselves and the next person.
Natural beauty results in the appreciation of life and so matters like FeesMustFall would be dealt with differently if we all took well-thought decisions.

  1. Free education is a good thing but only those who are from disadvantaged backgrounds must not pay fees, but who can afford to must pay.

    1. Well, Trish that is difficult to agree to because we all have a right to education equally at the same costs because ultimately we live in a equal and democratic country.

  4. Free education must be for those who cannot afford to pay fees. it shouldn't be a matter that covers everyone.

    1. Totally ., right... its only a pity that our youth needs to go to such measures to get the attention of the government.

  6. The #feesmustfall movement was not a success as expected because education isn't free, never has been, never will be.. The students are still struggling to pay their fees and causing them to take gap years which is not the best option to do. The social media had an influence in this movement because most of the universities showed support to the #feesmustfall movement.

  7. Well, not entirely free but Nsfas was put in place to offer bursaries to students alternatively to loans, therefore social media played a very influential role in promoting the movement which succeeded to the great outcomes.
